3 Things I wish someone had told me when I got my first puppy

1. The puppy stage will end and you will miss it. So enjoy those sharp teeth, accidents and barking, while you still have it.
2. You will teach them a lot, but they will teach you even more: About yourself, the world, about being a better person. And most importantly it’s okay to not be perfect.
3. You will have days when you feel guilty for not feeding them the best food, teaching them the best tricks, taking them on the longest walks everyday. 

But you feeling that way means that you really care a lot and if you’re doing what you can, you’re already giving them the best possible life don’t be yourself up for the things that you’re not doing and just be their presence for the things that you are doing and that’s enough for them
