Will my Lab Puppy come with AKC papers?

All pups are issued with AKC limited registration papers, unless otherwise indicated. This means that your dog will be AKC registered, but any pups your dog has will not be eligible for AKC papers. (In some cases, we will change the limited status to a full registration in the future. This is done through our lease back program). Normal processing time for AKC papers as about six months after puppy pickup. However, during our challenging time of Covid where AKC employees are short, please allow additional time to receive your papers. We will process litter registrations when AKC returns to a normal work schedule. We have a program in place to ensure your papers will be issued.
